Three Development Modes of Prefab Houses

Three Development Modes of Prefab Houses

Ⅰ. What is a prefab house?

Prefab houses refer to prefabricated houses, or integrated houses, constructed by industrialized production methods. Some or all of the components of the house are prefabricated in the factory, and then transported to the construction site. Residential buildings built by assembling components through reliable connection methods are called industrialized houses or industrialized houses in Europe, America and Japan.

Ⅱ. Three development modes of prefab houses

Prefab houses are mainly divided into three development models: prefab reinforced concrete structure, lightweight steel prefabricated homes, and prefab container houses.

Development Mode 1: Prefabricated Concrete Structure

PC (Prefabricated Concrete Structure) is a concrete structure formed by prefabricated concrete components as the main component, assembled, connected, and combined with partial cast-in-place. PC components are finished concrete components formed by factory-made component processing units. PC houses have many advantages such as high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, cost reduction, and provision of residential functions and performance.

Development Mode 2: Prefabricated Steel Structure

The cold-formed thin-walled aluminum-zinc-plated light steel structure system is the forerunner of green buildings. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development has set the development direction of low-density housing for its remarkable advantages such as energy saving, environmental protection, good seismic performance, and fast construction speed.

This system is a new system developed in the 1950s to replace wood structures in the United States. This system is now widely used in the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and other countries, and Australia's steel structure housing construction accounts for about 50% of all newly built housing.

It is widely used in self-built houses, landscape buildings, public buildings and other fields after disasters, taking its characteristics such as intelligence, high precision, high strength, light weight, material saving, super anti-corrosion, economy and fast, high housing yield, and excellent seismic performance. Many high end prefabricated homes will adopt this structure.

Development Mode 3: Prefabricated Container Modular House

Leisure clubs and tourist hotels created by using container houses. The roof slab material is made of outer glass fiber reinforced plastic + steel frame + inner glass fiber reinforced plastic, equipped with water and electricity lines, doors and windows and other ventilation systems, reception rooms, accommodation rooms, toilets, etc., functional layout and convenient use, high comfort, reflecting the other tree one The freedom and creative style of the flag.

In fact, on the other side, container houses also have more advantages and functions that traditional buildings do not have. For example, it can be used as hotels, resorts, holiday villas, motels, restrooms, coffee shops, convenience stores, rest pavilions, etc.
